Meditation is a potent state of being that has far-reaching benefits on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. The meditative state is at once calm, dynamic, and serene. The ancient meditation techniques of Yoga that we practice and teach are based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, the author of Autobiography of a Yogi. The Ananda Fresno Meditation Group was founded in 2000.

Activities

Group Meditations

  • One-hour Zoom meditation offered bi-monthly Friday at noon.
  • Two-hour, in-person monthly meditations on Sunday afternoon.
  • Two-hour Zoom meditation quarterly on Saturday mornings.
